Studio Equinox09 , founded by bassist, music producer, and game designer Neto Florencio , takes its name from John Coltrane's song "Equinox" and the equinox, the moment when day and night are of equal length. September, the month in which one of the equinoxes occurs, also marks the studio's creation, giving rise to the name Equinox09. The studio began as a home studio in Atibaia/SP, where musicians and creators gathered to compose, experiment, and transform ideas into soundscapes. Over time, this essence evolved into a professional practice focused on creating original soundtracks and sound design for films, animations, and games. In addition to musical composition and production, Studio Equinox09 also develops animations using Unreal Engine and Unity, integrating sound and image from the project's conception. It also implements audio directly in the engines or through middleware such as FMOD, ensuring that the sound experience is dynamic, interactive, and fully integrated into the narrative.
